My 1930's/40's art deco bar

This bar has a nice story to it. I saw it for the first time when I went up to an antique center in upstate NY about almost 2 years ago. I saw it in one of the vendor's booths, and was so stunned by it. I wanted it sooo badly that I could taste it!
I loved how it was very art deco and so unique looking. I looked at the price tag and saw that it was $800 and change. I did not want to put so much money down all at once so I sadly passed on it. Never thinking I would end up with this beautiful bar eventually!

I returned to the same antique center about a year later and still saw it sitting there and the priced dropped! She dropped it to $500! It was still sitting their collecting dust and I always told the people that worked their that I was so in love with this bar...again I passed.

The bar was still on my mind for a few days and started to research it, after hours of researching and find nothing on it , I came to a forum in the UK and this person had the same one that they just recently purchased...This bar is from the 30's or 40's and came from England. I was wowed by that!

Most likely their isn't a lot of this bar in the USA.

I called up the antique center the next day and had a number in mind of what I would ask her for it.
The vendor luckily was in the center at the time I called and we spoke...she said it was sitting their for sometime and she said I would take $300! I said SOLD! That is a steal for this bar! She said she got it from an auction years ago, really did not know much about it.

So it sits in my living room filled with all vintage barware, cocktail shakers, ice buckets, shot glasses etc and I never regret buying it!
